So, as we look back over some of the photographs, beautiful thank you cards and memorable moments, we thought we’d share with you a few of our favourites to inspire the newly engaged wedding planners among you, who’s day we cant wait to be a part of and those newlyweds who remember it all as well as we do.
When it comes to dresses we simply had to give mention to a fifties inspired tea length gown made from allencon lace and tulle by Designer, Justin Alexander. Featuring a Sabrina neckline and v-neck back. We all fell in love with this dress…some of us wanted to re-new our vows just so we could wear it!
Invites this year were incredible, beautiful hand made cards with vintage inspired colours and detail really stood out as brides opted for a little arts and crafts on the run up to their big day. Such a personal touch and a lovely reminder to look back on in years to come. One bride framed the invite for their bedroom wall which we thought was a lovely idea.
It’s the little things at a wedding that make a day so special isn’t it? Like a good speech, a nervous but lovely best man, a bridesmaid in the wings making sure everything runs on time, or a surprise gift that has been really thought out…and this year it was a thoughtful groom who got us filling up!
Knowing of his brides love of the hit series, Sex And The City he surprised her on the morning of the wedding by sending up to her room, a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes as her something blue! If she didn’t already know he was the one, she did then! They were to die for!
Our favourite entertainment this summer, had to be live band, Hip Operation. Full of fun, yet professional throughout, you could see that they were really enjoying themselves which had the guests on the dance floor all night. They recently won a National Award at the Wedding Industry Awards and appeared on Emmerdale too!
